Hawkwood Heracles Armoured Cruiser

Based loosely on the Vladimir cruiser, the Heracles has the heaviest armour and structural bracing in Known Space. Even when shields are breached, most enemy enemy fire merely bounces off the reinforced hull (the Heracles is the only ship in the game to have a Hull score of 6!). While slow, the Heracles has a powerful complement of heavy lasers and blasters, a truly terrifying combination when mounted on a ship that is all but immune to incoming fire. Many nobles from enemy Houses maintain the only way to achieve victory over the Heracles is to board it, but its weaponry makes an approach fraught with danger, while the troops and Marauders on board always stand ready to fend off attackers.
