Li Halan Peregrine Heavy Fighters

With twin meson tubes and a healthy turn of speed, the Peregrine is well-named. Diving down on its target, it can launch a searing attack that will cripple even larger vessels, before speeding back off to its carrier to re-arm.

Standard tactical doctrine says that the only effective defence against a Peregrine attack is a good fighter screen.
