Al Malik Spider Frigates

The Spider frigate sets the tone for al Malik ships. On the turret is mounted a long-ranged missile launcher, while the gun decks sport rockets. Al Malik fleets offset the inherent inaccuracy of rockets by fielding massive amounts of them.

Any enemy approaching an al Malik fleet will be forced to weather a blizzard of missiles and rockets, weapons slow enough to bypass shields entirely to wreak havoc on a ship's now unprotected hull.
