Texas-class Light Cruiser

Nearly a century old by the time of the General War, these ships (once classed as heavy cruisers) have been refitted and rebuilt several times but, due to their heavily reinforced hull, are still in service. While no more are being constructed, Star Fleet are saving the taxpayers 20 trillion Credits by keeping these in service instead of building new vessels.

This product is being done as a joint venture with Amarillo Design Bureau, inc., under the strict terms of their contract with Paramount Pictures Corporation.
