Welcome, officers, let’s talk about
what it takes to be one of the few and the proud
- the MI!
First and foremost, Mongoose
is recruiting reliable individuals with a love
for tabletop miniatures gaming. Fresh recruits
must be able to effectively navigate the chain
of command, and you are their immediate officers!
Promoting Mighty Armies is your
first assignment of the Mongoose Infantry, and
we know they’ll do us proud.
In the coming months, the
Troopers (demo team members) are expected to act
as the organizer for at least two authorized Mighty
Armies demo per month at a pre-approved
retail store. In order to schedule a demo, receive
compensation, and be eligible for prize support,
Troopers must submit the following information
to me by e-mail;
- Their basic demo team
information.
- Your store information.
This includes your store name, address, phone
number, e-mail, and contact name.
- The date and time for
their event. Note that we will ship prize support,
promotional materials, etc. to your store in
the name of the demo team. Please help support
the release of Mighty Armies by showing your
usual professionalism.
For each pre-approved and
verified game that a Trooper runs (no more than
one demo per hour), he or she will receive credit toward Mongoose products, which will be
shipped once per month. The Troopers also understand
that you are their ranking officers, and they
are to be respectful to you and your patrons.
In each of these games, the
Trooper is expected to lead and follow players.
This means that during one turn, his or her Mighty
Armies forces may have initiative, and
the next they may not. Troopers are to do their
level best to see that players understand the
rules and can play on their own once a game is
run.
Once an event is complete,
the Trooper will turn in a verification form.
The form must include all the information they
submitted for authorization, plus the printed
(not signed) names and addresses of their players.
If the players do not wish to give their addresses,
they may use the store address.
If you don’t have Troopers
in your area and/or wish to hold demo events in
your store that are run by your employees, please
contact
me right away! We encourage store-based demos,
and hope that we can put qualified Mongoose Infantry
to work for you! |
If you ever have
any questions or comments, shoot an e-mail to me, Ian Barstow.
So, do you think you have what it takes to excite
the barbarian gaming horde, entice a gang of rabid
wargamers, and squash silly customer reservations
to win the sale? Well, now you’ll get your
chance!
Fill out the form below and I will contact you
shortly!
