Okay, guys, let’s talk about what it takes to be a Mongoose Infantry Demo Team member.

First and foremost, Mongoose is looking for reliable individuals with a love for tabletop miniatures gaming. You will be in the front line in promoting various games from Mongoose Publishing.

In the coming months, you are expected to act as the organizer for at least ONE authorised demo per month at a pre-approved retail store. In order to schedule a demo, receive compensation, and be eligible for prize support, you must submit the following information by e-mail;

1. Your demo team information. This can be submitted by creating a unique demo team signature in Outlook Express or other programs. The signature must include your name, address, phone number, and e-mail.
2. The same information for the retailer/convention sponsor of your demo, plus a contact name.
3. The date and time for your event. Note that we must have at least three weeks notice in order to ship prize support to your sponsoring store.

For each pre-approved and verified game you run (no more than one demo per hour), you will receive credit toward Mongoose products, ordered through the MI Coordinator, Ian Barstow. Your objective is to teach new people how to play these games, so if you demo to only one person, you still get credit. Obviously though the more, the merrier.

In each of these games, you are expected to lead and follow players. Do your best to see that players understand the rules and can play on their own once a game is run.

Once an event is complete, you will turn in a verification form. The form must include all the information you submitted for authorisation, plus the printed (not signed) names and addresses of your players. If the players do not wish to give their addresses, they may use the store address.
